This was a design I created to show the difference between infill and perimeters + bottom/top layers. I've included a sample Simplify3D factory file as a starting point. If you don't have Simplify3D:
Shell is 1.8mm thick - this was optimized for my printed wall thickness of .9mm. Print this with top/bottom layers, but no infill, no support structure.
Inner touches the shell, and should be printed with infill only. You may have to expand the infill process a bit in the X/Y axis to get it to touch the shell when printed.
Once printed, the infill may have some horizontal strands that need to be trimmed with a knife.
Sample is printed with a Mosaic Palette+ in black and white.
