Dental Chair

This model is a bit different from what I usually make. It’s an attempt at creating a dentist chair. The idea was to design something with moving seat parts, and to keep it multipart so the colors can be customized freely. The chair has three hinges. Two of them are used for the seat area (the backrest and the leg section). The pins are 6.15 mm in diameter, which gives a 0.15 mm tolerance compared to the seat holes (6.30 mm). The third hinge controls the entire seat (the one that connects to the base), and it is also a tight fit. RecommendationsA 0.15 mm tolerance is generally tight, so you’ll need to apply strong pressure to push the parts through, especially since printed circles aren’t perfectly round (because they’re printed vertically). If you run into issues with the tolerances, you can try scaling the pins (the cylindrical tubes) from 6.15 mm down to 6.10 mm and adjust as needed.
