Desiccant Spool

I wanted a solution to be able to dry my loose desiccant in my filament dryer, so I created this. I printed this out of ASA so it would be heat tolerant. PETG would probably work as well. The plug of top is a nice friction fit. It is the same size as a Bambu reusable spool and it holds more than 1 quart of desiccant beads. That is more than 2x sets of dry pods for an AMS or in my case a single set of dry pods and a bag of desiccant from a dry box. Another use would be to place one of these full of desiccant in a dry box or AMS with other spools as an easy large desiccant holder that can go right into your filament dryer when you need to dry out the desiccant. Assembly is easy with ASA, just add a small amount of super glue on the rim of each cylinder before sliding the spool side fins into the slot in the cylinder. When drying the desiccant in your filament dryer, spin the spool around every hour or so to mix the desiccant for uniform dehydrating.
