My daughter sent me a photo of a desk accent lamp and said "Can you make this for me?" So I have no idea whose design this is and don't claim credit. But I was able to replicate it precisely.
With OpenSCAD, it only took 5 instructions and 10 minutes to recreate the globe portion of the light. If you haven't tried OpenSCAD, give it a look. And I included the .scad files in case anyone wants to modify them. Note, I set the facet number quite high and with the design using a large number of spheres for the design, OpenSCAD is slow at manipulating the model -- and rendering took over an hour on my old PC. So change $fn to some smaller number for editing, say 30, and when you're done editing, reset $fn to whatever resolution you want for printing.
Required, non-printed parts:
lightbulb holder -- I used Leviton 002-19062 lampholder
2 - 4mm x 35mm cap head bolts and nuts
1 - lamp wire, plug, switch -- I found a wire, plug, and in-line switch assembly at a home center for about $5
