Desk Arbour for Embossing

probably over thunk this a bit, but the end result is pretty satisfying.

you will neede some small short woodscrews and a 6mm bolt of no great length to put this together. and grease also. as much as will fit into the working gears.

I was surprised how much pressure i could put on this little thing. It will emboss any of the three designs included onto a fairly thick business card.

I have also added a set of blank Dies in STL and Solidworks formats if you want to do your own designs. please feel free to request another type. cant do OBJ, sorry, but i can to STEP. solidworks offers 2 different types of STEP file so clue me up.

the housing, handle and front can be PLA at 0.3mm res. 3 walls and at least 30% infill.

gear and rack and shim need to be pretty tough so i would recommend ABS with a finer resolution.

mine is made from PLA entirely but i would expect more crush, and longevity from ABS
