I wanted something to route a cable along a desk edge without damaging the cable in the long run.Didn't find anything that suits my needs so I designed this contraption.Maybe someone finds it useful.===================================Someone on Reddit asked for an alternate mounting option.Your wish is my command.Print it on its side with tree supports and brim enabled.=================================== Use two 608 bearings and any 608 bearing guide.I used the guide from this model: https://www.printables.com/model/179627-filament-guide-screw-mounted-608-bearing To secure the long roller to the top use any M3 screws.I also used this cable stop at the bottom so I don't jank the cable out of its wall plug: https://www.printables.com/model/407391-cable-stop I printed it in the orientation shown in the pictures. Not ideal, but works. Here it is in action: https://youtube.com/shorts/fSgbJLltTe0 The distance between the two pins is parametric and can be changed in Fusion360.
