In the updated version, the thread is printed separate from the holder so that you can print without supports, as some people were having problems with their thread when supports were needed.
The holder is also thinner in this version, I realized after printing that the original was a bit thicker than it needed to be and wasted more filament, so this version uses about 20 grams less filament.
Lastly, there are 4 different threads that can be printed for different desk sizes, so that the least amount of filament possible is used.
2 in - best for 2-2.4 inch thick desks
1.5in - best for 1.5-2 inch thick desks
1in - best for 1-1.5 inch thick desks
0.5in - best for 0.5-1 inch thick desks

Simple print in place desk headphone holder. The offset for the thread is set for 0.2 mm layer height, so anywhere under that and it may get a bit loose, and over that may be too tight.
The gap ranges from 0.67 in
