This is a project I did for my workspace at home. I had a desktop light with an old fluorescent light source that I wanted to replace. I had some LED strips laying around and decided to design a house for them. This is not meant to be a universal thing, it's just a personal project that I share in case someone can have use for it.
The diffuser layer and glass is from an old scrapped laptop screen. There are several different layers with different function in computer screens and you can try them on to see what effect they do and how you like the effect. Cut the sheets 120 x 200 mm (or a little bit less depending on the printing result of the parts) so that they fit in the frame.
The frame uses 20pcs countersunk M2,5x8mm. If you don't have these screws and don't expect to need to open the lamp you can glue the frame in place. The part called "support frame" is used in case you print the main house in two pieces and glue them together and want to add extra strength.
