You know the little tiny bits of trash accumulated on a workbench? A few bits of plastic from stripping wires, some blobs of dripped solder, a couple of dead capacitors… well eventually those insignificantly small pieces pile up and a small mountain of scraps has formed. I needed a solution. A garbage can under my desk wasn't going to cut it. It had to be something right beside me so there would be no excuse, and it also had to be hanging over the edge so I could easily brush my little electronics crumbs into it. I went through many iterations of the design before landing on this one I've posted. The slides make it easy to pull off and empty, the magnets snap it back into place, and the metal screws add a stability that a 3d printed clamp can't. It might be overkill, but i really didn't want to risk bumping it and having it dump all over the floor. This design works for a 1 ½ inch thick desktop. The screws were just what I had lying around (#3x1" Robertson flat-head
