I wanted a simple, minimal and classy looking tray to put a few items on to display or maybe hold small items, like AirPods or keys. I also enjoy the hex look, so I cut them into the bottom. They are 0.4mm deep, so two layers, and allow for a pleasant second color if you choose to add some contrast to the piece. The print profiles include a dual color, and a single color. I used some wood PLA with Maple as the base and Cherry as the inserts, and it came out really elegant. I'd love to see the color combinations you come up with.
