The Extractor Hoods are thin-walled and designed to optimize the size of my build plate. The thin walls also pose a problem for plate adhesion. I print on a creality ender 3 and use the Cura slicer so in order to get it to both fit and stick. I reduced the brim size to 4 mm and turned off Outside Only, making sure it is in good contact with the edge. I also recommend kicking up the infill to about 40% and increasing the inner wall count. You know your machine best, so basically, anything you can do to help layer adhesion will be a plus in ensuring you get a successful print.
It's designed to fit a 120mm case fan. I recommend a 12-volt High CFM fan.
The one I use is 150 CFM each.
Also, and this is important, if you use this for soldering, I highly recommend getting the proper activated carbon filter, not just those black foam sheets you see on Amazon.
