Deus 2 Remote Case Remix #3

This Deus 2 Remote Case is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5491082 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5915012. In this version the stub used to mount the case onto the Deus shaft is printed as a separate item and is attached to the body with screws and hex nuts. Since the stub no longer requires support during printing, the dimensions and surface quality of the stub are much improved, especially when printing difficult materials such as nylon.

Print with wall, top and bottom thickness of 1.6 mm or greater to provide maximum strength where the stub is connected to the body.

Print the body with a brim on the outside. The small strip in the slot at the bottom of the body prevents a brim from being printed on the inside when CURA is set to “brim only on outside”. The strip can be removed after printing.
