Dial Indicator holder for Chad Mod No Support

This a remix of Humebeam's dial indicator holder for bed leveling. This version is designed to work with the Chad Mod (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3994628) It fits the iGaging digital indicator (Model 35-125) The post is just under 9.5mm. With a 1" indicator this will work with either the E3D Volcano or V6 hotend. Just run the included gcode which is just a copy from the original thing.

Attach with the same screw you use for your extruder assembly.

I include the step file so it is easy to modify for a different indicator. I would highly recommend a digital indicator for this application since it doesn't care what angle you look at it from, the number is always the same.


Print at what ever resolution you want. I printed it with a 1mm Volcano at 0.36mm layer height with a 1.2mm line width. I do like my Volcano
