I was inspired by this clever device (the "dice drain") that I found on Board Game Geek:

I think it is a great idea to keep the dice contained while rolling. I just whipped up a quick 3D printable version.
Please let me know if you have any ideas that could be added or improved. I am already thinking that this could benefit from a taller top section.
