This 3 piece snap assembled box is great for most average sized dice sets and small parts! For assembly the door must be placed at the opened area of the female halve (note door nub orientation), then line up the male side and snap together :) Textured plate works, but smooth plate may reduce lid friction. If worried just sand the lid sides and compare/contrast friction difference on the male halve before assembly. You cannot remove the two halves without destroying the snap fittings.
