This print is to allow for experimentation to help design a diffuser for LED lighting.
Print the "Bar LED Tray.stl" and "Bar LED Bracket.stl". Attach a strip of 4 LEDs (60LEDs/m) to the tray and then glue the LED bracket on top.
Print the "Bar Diffusers.stl". There are four with the diffuser thickness of 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.4mm and 0.5mm. The thickness can be identified from the indents on the side, each indent signifying 0.1mm. The first 0.5mm height of the print should be done at a Z resolution of 0.1mm to ensure the 0.3 and 0.5 mm thickness' are printed correctly. In PrusaSlicer I used the height range modifier to have the first 0.5mm print at a 0.1mm layer height.
Connect the LEDs to power and then the diffusers can be placed on top to see how well the filament diffuses the light. The "Bar Extension.stl" can be used to move the diffuser farther away from the LEDs helping to diffuse the light more.
I made a video showing where and why I created this test rig. I tried it with
