I really enjoyed printing and building the Digicomp. However, even after reducing the scale to 90% I still found that I could not print the main clock or the base as one piece. Also, I found that the timing was a bit off. So I re-rendered the main clock and base in two pieces each that can be easily glued together with super glue. Also, the display tabs did not seem to be centered properly in the displays,. so I re-rendered that as well.
More recently, I got tired of the rubber bands being too loose (can't scale those to 90%) and also the rod bearing plate was too weak and thin, such that the rods kept falling out. So I re-rendered the rod-bearing plate to be thicker, and I moved the rubber band hooks over to stretch the rubber bands more. Works great!
Also, I did not like how the short and long tubes fit onto the slider pegs. The original Digicomp used plastic straws, which had some elasticity. So I re-rendered the short and long tubes and printed them with TPU. And fina
