A friend of mine asked me to build him the 40m version of the [Digitenna](https://www.printables.com/model/1440130-digitenna). When doing so, I noticed several problems, one being the bad design of the crank. It is quite wearisome to coil the antenna using the crank that comes with the digitenna. So I decided to design my own.
Please note that this item is just a drop-in replacement for the crank. It is of no use by itself. All other parts have to be taken from the digitenna as published.
The crank can also be used with the [modified Digitenna D82](https://www.printables.com/model/1743084-digitenna-d82-40m).
The design comes with the full OpenSCAD source for your perusal.
I've printed the crank on a BambuLab P2S using both PLA and ASA using the standard 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm resolution.
