Dinning Table

Dimensions: 31.5' w, 29.8' h, 70.5' l. (80cm wide, 75.6hcm high, 179cm long) Mass = 391.23 pounds Volume = 10829.18 cubic inches Surface area = 20819.46 square inches I started out by creating the top piece of the table on the top plane and making a reference plane right below the first sketch and creating a reverse offset of the first sketch. By using loft, I connected the 2 sketches and created a solid body. Then, I started creating the support on the bottom of the top piece of the table and measuring the height, to figure where is the bottom and where to put the circle pieces. I sketched out all of the rest of the piece on the front plane and extruded it from the mid plane (I created it all on one side and after extrduing mirrored to the other side). Then, I went back to the top to add another layer to the table and fillet the edges. Lastly, I created a sketch of a small circle on the right plane, passing right through the middle of the circles and created a sketch on the front plane and revolved the end pieces. This dinning table is a part of the Art Deco style due to its elements of geometry, rich and exotic wood material, polished silver, and vibrant color.
