My little one (almost 2 years old) likes to play outdoors and explore, and we try to vary his activities. So, to take advantage of his developing motor skills, this is a fun and educational printable, perfect for him. The activity is simple: Bury the bones in the sand or soil, place the bases next to him, and let him find and unearth each piece with his own hands. Once he finds them, we help him place each one where it belongs. You'll only need to print the files and: A little soil or sand and a bowl (if you're doing it indoors) A little soil from your garden (if you're doing it outdoors) NOTE: If you're doing this with children as young as mine, always remember to supervise, as some of the pieces are small and he might crave them.
