Diode Laser Module Insert for X-Carve

This is an insert that fits the X-Carve Dewalt 611 mount. It will also work with other 69mm diameter spindle mounts. It can accomodate a 40mm square blue laser module of 1-7 watt power. With this adaper no machine workspace area is lost and no X,Y offsets need to be inserted into the G-Code.
The router or spindle will need to be removed and set aside.
The under 3 watt laser modules use Spindle On to turn the beam on and off. The 5 watt and higher have separate control boards that use the PWM signal from the CNC control board.

The typical laser HOUSING to work piece distance is 38mm. Then focus the lens to get a fine laser dot.
