Adapter to convert an old Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 metal detector to use a Dewalt Battery. The Battery could be used to adapt a mount a different battery.The platform may fit other models, just keep in mind the provided spacer allows the battery to be connected to the controller for added stability, different models may require a different spacer if that function is still desired.This conversion will not require mass changes to the controller case This video was helpful in identifying the wiring of the controller's original dual 9v batteries and gives a different approach to a conversion.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1mM5fx-LO0&t=3s This is a mount for the battery to go in below the scanner assembly.I have included a diagram of the wiring I used.
