In a household where the dishwasher is constantly running, I don’t have time for bent forks or rogue silverware slipping through the gaps. After repeatedly fishing utensils out from the depths—thanks to the square openings in the OEM basket—I decided enough was enough. So, I designed a replacement, built on the simple yet powerful truth: hexagons are the bestagons. These baskets are slightly wider but shorter in length than the original, letting us use two when we’re drowning in dirty silverware, or just one when we’re running a lighter load. With a big family working and studying from home, we run the dishwasher multiple times a day, and this upgrade has been a game-changer. No more bent forks, lost spoons, or utensil retrieval missions—just smooth, efficient dishwashing. This basket is best printed on an enclosed printer with dry ABS-GF for temperature resistance and better dimensional stability.
