after a while we found the bottom of the cutlery tray would start to dissintegrate with all the knives and sharp ends, these inserts drop in and fix that.

Print in ABS or PETG to handle the heat of the dishwasher cycle, printed thick to be more resistant and less brittle.
Use a RAFT as the objects themselves are quite intricate.
