Hello fellow DIYers
I came up with the original concept and design of "Kevin Bragg" of a lithophane lamp which I really like.
However his design wasn't ideal for my concept so I decided to redesign all his work, not exactly a remix as I did everything all over again. But I used his lamp as my main concept, hence giving him his proper attributes, Thanks, Kevin!
This a real DIY
Materials
• Power Cord (12DCV)
• In line switch or other on/off switch
• 8 LED's (any color you want)
• Resistors (270 ohms) If you don't have that you can use max 300 ohms or solder in parallel or series depending on the ones you have (ohms law)
1/28/2019
• Haven't had problems yet. LED's work great and don't heat up that fast. I added a thin layer of hot glue on top of each led to make the light wider.
I Run the lamp on for 2 days straight with no issues.
