This is a remix of SuperMakeSomething's 3D scanner. It's only been given mild modifications, mostly to the stepper motor holders. They are now two separate components with pilot holes for being bolted to a plank of wood or sheet of Perspex or any other solid surface. This gives you more leeway in the distance between the scanner and the turntable, especially if you have trouble finding an IR sensor with a minimum distance of 2cm (most of the ones I found needed at least 5.

This may be updated later on with a modification of the scanner plate; I'd prefer it be some kind of bracket I can bolt to a piece of laminate or aluminum.
