This is a DIY version of the popular bicycle handlebar extenders that can be found online. The handlebar extender consists of three parts that can be easily printed on a regular 3d printer. The parts are made for a bicycle handlebar with a diameter of around 26cm.
Things needed for this project (B.O.M.):
- Enough 3d printer filament, put the model in a slicer to get an estimate.
- 6 or 8 M3 screws (minimum length should be around 10mm).
- 6 or 8 M3 nuts.
Keep in mind that I printed it with PLA because I'm using the bicycle for indoor training. If you want to use it for outdoor use you should print it in a stronger material like ABS or similar.
