A bench power supply is extremely useful for electronics hobbyists, but they can be expensive when purchased from the market. In this Instructable, I will show you, how to make a mini-lab power supply with a limited budget. It is a great DIY project for beginners as well as anyone interested in Electronics.

The Power Supply is based on XL4015 DC-DC buck converter module. This module can provide an adjustable output-voltage from about 1.4V, up to the input voltage and current output from 0mA to 5A. It only requires only a DC power supply with a voltage range between 12-30V. I have used a 24V/3A DC adapter.
The power supply can be used for the following purposes:
1. Variable Power Supply
2. Battery Charger
3. Constant Current LED Driver
4. Solar Charger Controller
