Top guard for DJI Avata. The Avata is top heavy and tends to crash on it's top. This guard protects the GPS and prevents the battery from ejecting in a crash. In the Fusion 360 project you can enable a rear block extension if you want the guard to cover the battery connector. I now run the short version but there are situations where the extended block can be nice.
The back block holds the top of the battery and the side clip interlocks with the notch in the side of the battery to help hold it in place.
If you print it too strong it can actually rip the mounts off the upper frame in a hard crash. I've had better luck printing this with thicker layers so it tends to separate in hard crash acting more like ablative armor. I've tried ABS,PTEG,HIPS,TPU,PLA. It could just be my printer but PLA seems to be the best balance.
Consider adding 1-3% shrink compensation when printing. They can snap on really tight and it can be hard to get off. If this happens it's pretty easy to adjus
