My version of a float gear, using the infinite resource of empty beer cans.
The drone weight is 750 gram, floating gear 150 gram, air volume 4 x 45cl (probably 50).
Can diameter 66mm.
Should be centered at the position of the release buttons of the battery, for balance, and for sensors.
A strong 4mm marine rubber rope is used for fixing the drone to the holder.
For better grip/friction I use 1mm rubber sheet between drone and holder.
Spray painted to make sure it's water tight. Not tested without paint.
What about a version with vertical cans? For lower vertical drag? Higher float position? Softer landings?
