Payload drop system concept for the DJI Mini 2. This system in the current configuration weighs approximately 102g, providing for a payload up to 140g based on capacity testing. The primary driver of this project is for emergency use, dropping the entire mechanism to reduce return flight weight, maximizing potential distance/battery life. Fully open with no expected attribution.
