DKDaigle's Belted X

DKDaigle has a pretty cool mod, but the new X axis is a bit chunky. Festivejelly has a good simple remix of the original. but the belt mounting is flimsy and failure-prone, even printed in PETG.

My motor stall homing loved to shift the rear belt a little, stripping the plastic a bit each time.

Enter, the belt grabber. Optimized for 6mm belt, tooth profile for Gates GT2 from technical drawings on adafruit. It locks into the MGN carriage through the top of the part, and works in the plastic's strongest way:compression.

Just cut off the original belt mount, and watch how easily it falls apart.
