I made this toy with PETG, as it's non-toxic and more durable than PLA. More importantly, unlike PLA, it doesn't release sharp splinters because PETG is more flexible and soft. This also prevents the toy from becoming so hard that it could break your dog's teeth. So, never make it with PLA. Much less with ABS or ASA, which in addition to being very hard are also toxic.I also recommend printing with natural PETG, which doesn't contain dyes. I didn't have any, so I made it in white, which I believe has fewer pigments.If your dog prefers softer toys, you can als use TPU filament. Caution: Always supervise your dog when using this type of toy. And put it away after playing. Don't leave your dog alone while playing with it to avoid accidents. And if your dog tends to swallow the loose pieces, don't give it to him. This toy should be chewed, but not eaten.
