Door Handle Guide

the holes in the side are the through holes for the body of the handle. The smaller hole in the bottom is for the 1 inch hole for the locking mechanism. The red circle is to see though and find the mark you make to measure how high you want the handle to be. (36-48 inches that text is on the side of the device) The purple circle is for the top slot to set the depth of your router if you want to carve it out like that vs with a chisel. the depth is the depth of the metal plate you screw in off set by the depth of the guide. you will need to use the guide to cut the 2 larger holes and the 1 inch hole then remove it and line it back up to cut the second 1 inch hole. The larger holes are also spaced correctly for a door knob and a deadbolt. If you have any questions just ask. Thanks!
