I made the cover 12mm inside hole. The outside of the hole is 22mm to cover the whole entire hole. This is just a quick fix to hide holes in doors so you don't have to fill the hole and repaint it. It will also protect the door from getting hit again and making the hole bigger. I would only use this if you already have the hole in the door from not having the cap on the door stopper.
