Door Latch

The gap in the 'Latch Hook' has been increased for more secure attachment.

This is a door latch that prints well and works like one bought from a shop.

It is surprisingly strong and effective. I have used it to keep our chicken coop gate shut which it does with ease. It could be used for keeping any un-secure door like the bathroom, dog kennel, gate and many more. As it is plastic it has the added advantage of not being able to rust. we have provided 2 adjusting slots in parts for variable locking position.

I printed 2 x 'latch hoops' and 1 x 'latch hook' total 3 parts with support and raft @ 50% infill and 0.30mm layer thickness resolution. Time approx 70 mins.
