Door Opening Card Handle

I designed and 3D-printed an ergonomic handle for standard door opening cards. These cards are used by fire and rescue services to gain access in emergency situations — for example, when a person inside a room or apartment is unable to open the door themselves. This handle improves grip and control, making the tool easier and safer to use during legitimate emergency operations or training. The assembly is intentionally simple: the required holes can be punched into the card using a regular office hole punch. The handle is then mounted using two M4 nuts and two M4 x 16 mm Imbus screws. The handle prints quickly, is sturdy, and significantly enhances the usability of a door opening card.Please note: The “FFB” lettering shown in the pictures is not included in the print profile.
