Inspired by a post in the North Dakota Tesla Facebook Group by Arnie Kopp, who uses Popsicle sticks to keep the door handles of his Tesla Model 3 from freezing after a winter carwash. Although he places the sticks vertically, my version is intended to be placed inline with the door handle (horizontal).
After a car wash, ideally you'd wipe everything down with a towel or microfiber cloth. Then, if you're careful, you can slip the stop stick under the door handle without triggering a door open event. I suspect I'll just get the car wash on my way to work, then slip stop sticks under the front doors, then remove them when I leave at the end of the day. For this reason, I recommend printing them in a color to match your body color, to cut down on the questions you'll get about the sticks sticking out of your car doors.
