Inspired by the contraption from the 1930's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaAHiiCnteY

I noticed the dotted line tool had all the components creatable in a few 3D printed pieces. I decided to give it a try. This tool has come a long way since my first iteration, but could certainly be improved. I can already think of a more efficient mechanism for this tool and I'd love to see someone else come up with it too!

Tool has holes for permanent assembly with machine screws, but can be used without. The gear is designed to be interchangeable.

Print the pen grip vertically, and the rest of the arm flat on the bed. Both components need to be printed in different orientations to be smooth on the gears, and strong when gripping.

The drive wheel has trouble gripping the table. I applied a thin layer of hot glue around the edge for tons of grip.

Enjoy!
