I am using a box-frame type Prusa i3 printer and was looking for the best place where to mount my new [Smart LCD controller](http://www.reprapdiscount.com/electronics/19-smart-lcd-controller.html). From a functional point of view, I would like to have at the top right of the i3 box frame, just above the RAMPS. But I also like to keep my printer as compact as possible, and having an LCD controller stick out makes it cumbersome to carry around and also bears the risk of damaging it by hitting it unintentionally.
So the aim of this project is to construct a sturdy double hinged frame which allows to firmly hold the LCD controller in the desired operating position when using the printer, and to stow it away behind the frame when it's not needed.
The project consists of the LCD frame as such and a strong double hinge mechanism. Both frame and hinge mechanism can also be used independently, i.e. if the Smart LCD Controller is to be mounted in a fixed position,
