Double Yarn Holder: Updated Version

My model of the Double Yarn Holder has become quite popular among knitters and crocheters, but it has had a few flaws. It was too light and didn’t work well with heavy yarn. The threads were quite thin and broke easily. So, I decided to update it and create a new version. I changed the threads, making them thicker. I hope this also makes them stronger. Making the model heavier was a bit of a challenge, but I think I found a good solution. Inside the base, I created space for a heavy insert. The insert is a printed part filled with air-drying clay. I used the kind I bought in a craft store for my son. I recommend filling it with clay in advance, allowing it to dry, and then placing it inside the base upside down. This makes the Yarn Holder heavier and much more comfortable to use. I also received a suggestion about adding magnets to the single yarn holder base so it would attach securely to the double yarn holder base.
