Dove Nest

A few days ago, I had to remove a large plant from my balcony and found a dove’s nest with eggs on one of its branches. Not wanting to interrupt the nesting process, I quickly designed a 3D-printable support to replace the original nest.The result is a modular nest: easy to print, quick to install, and designed to hold natural twigs, recreating a familiar structure for the bird.Just a few hours after installation, the dove returned and resumed nesting. This confirmed the effectiveness of the design—functional, practical, and useful in similar situations. It’s now available for anyone who wants to provide a safe shelter for birds, especially in urban environments.
