This is a giant pencil sharpener essentially, designed to make a 10mm dowel from a 10mm x 10mm square wooden blank.
The blade is three sections from a box cutter knife.
It does not work that well. I've pretty much given up on it, and gone back to my wooden one which mounts on a table saw. It's here for anyone else interested in carrying on.
The problems are that it is too finicky to assemble, and the plastic will degrade too fast.
I calculate the shape of the wire frame representing the blade in a spreadsheet, then load the python commands from the FreeCAD python console.
Might be better to design this in OpenSCADA.
