Downrigger Weight holder

Holder for downrigging balls/weights.

I was tired of having my downrigging balls shift around the boat (and didn't want to pay the $95 Scotty price) so I made up a quick generic ball holder.

I printed a few of these in different sizes (reducing % size in Cura) to fit my 15lb, 12lb, 8lb and 6lb weights and mounted them onto a strip of marine playwood which was attached to the floor of my boat. The drain hole at the bottom and small guides allow the water to drop off and away from the weight.

Though I will add smaller channels on the inside of the holding "cup" as well as make the cup a little more leaf-shaped for the CANNON brand reflector weights, this worked out pretty well so far.
