DIY High-Performance Air Purifier (140mm)This air filter was desined to use a famous swedish furniture store's air filter called UPPÅTVIND. I wanted to try to make my own version and try to beat it's price. The Challenge: Commercial air purifiers like the IKEA UPPÅTVIND ($35+) are effective, but the cost of the units adds up if you need one for every room. The Solution: This 3D-printable housing allows you to build a powerful, adjustable air purifier using the affordable UPPÅTVIND replacement filters and a high-static pressure PC fan. Total hardware cost is approximately €12.60 (plus filament).Bill of Materials (BOM)Filter: IKEA UPPÅTVIND Replacement Filter (~€5).Fan: Arctic P14 (140mm) or any standard 140mm PC fan (~€4).Power: USB-C Power Supply module (~€0.70/unit).Control: 3-Pin Fan Speed Controller (~€3).Power & ControlThe system is designed for flexibility. You can power the fan with any 5V–12V DC source. My Setup: I used a USB-C PD trigger/power module combined with a 3-pin
