For many design solutions or modifications, drag cable chains are necessary for a proper cable routing and guidance.

I have found easier to print the complete chains in one piece. The chain elements are modified to be printed without supports when connected one to the other.

If interested please print first the 10 chain links “package” for the size you need to make sure everything is fine.

Please use a temperature of the material in the lower side of the given range and the hotplate also in the lower range to avoid the “welding” between consecutive chain elements.

Make sure you have a proper printer set-up to avoid stringing (temperature, retractions) and a proper first layer and it should be OK.

Post print simply lift slightly with a blade the flanges both sides for each element and the chain becomes (eventually) loose.

End brackets both sides are provided for each type too.
