More cruel than the sea, heartless as a tempest, Captain Reinhardt Blackscale terrorized merchants for nearly a decade. His ship, the Broken Serpent, was known and feared across the Sword Coast. There was no equal.

Until his crew grew tired of his cruelty and mutinied against him. They tied him to an anchor and cast him overboard.

But in his rage he refused to die. He drug himself out of the depths, anchor and all, and has sworn to seek vengeance upon his entire crew. He plans to destroy them with his custom great axe, Bénthos.
