Drain vent cover

We have a walkout basement, where there's a drain for rain water in the patio. The small drain tends to get clogged with debris easily, causing the walkout to be flooded. To improve the drain cover area, I've made this simple design that you place on top of the drain. I use a small (1" diameter) metal ball as a weight to keep the drain cover in place, but a rock, or some simple ropes or tie bands should work). SizingI've made a parameter version as well, allowing most sizes to be adjusted. However, the .3mf file includes 3 predefined sizes, for 4", 5" and 6" diameters. I'd recommend making the drain cover noticeably larger than the actual drain, to allow for more debris buildups. PrintingYou should print any of these “upside down”, and they should not require support. PETG or ABS is highly recommended, this being out in the sun and rain all day.
