Drawer for top Plank

Fully parametric pull-out drawer designed to be screwed onto the top of a plank.The goal was better visibility and access to spices, which is achieved by pulling the entire drawer out.The drawer can hold up to 5 kg at the front while fully extended. It is secured against accidental pull-out by internal latches in the rails, preventing the whole drawer from sliding out and dropping its contents. Several variants were developed during prototyping: A bridge-connected one-piece version, where the drawer and rails print as a single part and are separated by breaking thin bridges after installation. This was removed from the final release for aesthetic reasons. A removable-drawer version, where the drawer could be taken out by bending the rear sides. This was achieved with cut-outs in the back and two separate rear wall sections printed from a more flexible material.
