While looking for a simple locking solution for my drawer, I came across a model by user artisandad. It was almost perfect, but I decided to tweak it a bit to better suit my needs. I replaced the countersunk screw holes (which tend to crack the print when tightened too much) with washer-head screws featuring a 10mm head diameter. This modification also increased the contact surface area, helping to better stabilize the part. The element mounted to the front of the drawer was reduced to just one screw, which allowed for more flexible installation without collisions or limitations related to the cabinet structure. Removing one screw also improved the part’s elasticity and reduced the risk of cracking at the base. I modified the screw holes to allow 2mm of movement, which makes it possible to precisely adjust the components even if the screws are inserted slightly unevenly.
